Kevin Garnett Injury Update
Garnett has missed the last 2 1/2 weeks with a hyperextended right knee. Doc Rivers told the Boston Herald that Garnett may return on Jan. 22 against the Blazers, but when there are rumors about Garnett it is really open in the air if they are true. The Celtics could really use him back as they are only 4-4 without him, including a lackluster loss last night to the Bulls (who were only 3-13 on the road).
In the end, he needs to be 100% before he comes back. Boston needs him for the playoffs, and as much as home court is nice, the Celtics need to continue to look towards the playoffs when making these kinds of decisions.
