I wish I had more to report, but all we know at this point is that Savard as some kind of knee injury, and was not at practice today. From all the reports I have read it sounds like this injury could be serious. If it is, Boston is in a lot of trouble. They are already near the bottom of the NHL in terms of scoring, and losing your offensive leader would be a huge blow (especially after already losing Bergeron).
Boston as recalled Trent Whitfield to take Savard's roster spot, and he will be the center on the 4th line.
