"Marc Savard has been diagnosed with a partially torn MCL in his right knee. The injury will sideline Savard for 3-4 weeks. Savard will not require surgery. Savard has nine goals and 13 assists in 28 games. Savard missed 15 games because of a broken left foot earlier this season (Boston.com)."
This sucks, but the bruins should feel lucky that he won't be out a lot longer. Savard is one player the Bruins can't afford to lose. Their offense has been bad all year, and losing your #1 playmaker will only make it worse. The Bruins have had terrible problems with injuries all year, but hopefully they can get all of this out of the way before the playoffs start...
