The Bruins have been one of the best teams in the NHL over the past two months, especially at home where they have won 11 straight. It is not even like the games have been close when the Bruins are in the Garden, as the Bruins have won by at least 2 goals in 10 of those 11 games.
Toronto has been playing better of late, as they have won 3 games in a row. Their improved play can be linked back to goalie Toskala who has let up 2 or fewer goals in each of his last 4 starts. He will have a hard time keeping that streak alive, since the Bruins have 2 players that are absolutely on fire. Kessel is riding the NHL's longest point steak (15 games), and has 12 goals and 10 assists during that stretch. Krejci also has 5 goals and 15 assists during the last 12 games.
The Bruins should dominate this game. Not only do I think that the Bruins will score 3 or more goals against Toskala, but I think there is a good shot Thomas (who should start) could get a shutout. Thomas is 11-4-2 against the Maple Leafs in his career.
