Capitals 3 Bruins 1

Tough game for the Bruins last night as a loss to Washington ended their 5 game winning streak. Boston had all the chances in the world to tie this game up at 2-2, but Caps goalie Brent Johnson was unbelievable stopping 33 shots. Johnson most impressive play was on Wheeler in the 2nd. Wheeler has on a breakaway, and beat Johnson to the right, but at the last second, Johnson lunged his stick out to make on of the best saves I have ever seen in my life. At that point I knew the Bruins were going to have a hard time overcoming something like that.

Even with the loss the Bruins have to feel good with how they played on the road, against on of the better teams in the NHL. Kessel was able to tally an assist, which pushed his league leading points streak to 18 game (that's nuts). The Bruins should have no problem getting back to their winning ways as they have back to back games against Atlanta, then a home game against Toronto. Next game is tomorrow at 7:30 in Atlanta.
