Tonight the Celtics take on the red hot Portland Trailblazers. Portland currently has the leagues second longest winning streak at 6 and are looking better and better each game. They are an interesting team because they are close to being one of the better squads in the league, they just have to get over the hump.
The keys to tonight's game is in Rondo...surprise surprise. He is coming off his first career triple double and needs to keep up the high level of play. The Blazers have a pretty decent guard situation with Brandon Roy, Steve Blake and the rookie Fernandez coming off the bench. If Rajon can do what Rajon does regularly tonight, it should lead to some open shots for the big guys, especially Perk. Doc said that Perk is finally understanding that other teams are going to target Ray, KG and Paul so he is going to get some clean looks and he has to capitalize on it.
I am anxious to see Perk vs Oden. Perk has a chance to prove himself tonight and do battle with an unbattle tested Greg Oden who is still trying to find his grove having only played in 14 games.
oh and by the way the C's have THE longest winning streak in league at 10
Prediction: Celtics 92 - Blazers 87
TA: Paul
