"In a move that could damage the salary-cap flexibility of the Portland Trail Blazers, Darius Miles has signed a minimum-salary contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, an NBA source said.
Miles recently worked out for the Los Angeles Clippers, who drafted him third overall in 2000, but team officials said they would prefer to wait until January to decide whether to sign him. The Grizzlies had room for another player after trading guard Javaris Crittenton to the Washington Wizards on Wednesday and settled on Miles after looking at D-League options." Yahoo
Man the Blazers must be pissed because there is no way Miles isn't playing ten games for the Grizzlies and that means the Blazers will have 18 million dollars go back on the books. When Miles first trained for the Celtics I got all excited and believed it was a great move on their part, however, things didn't work out and he got waived. On the Grizzlies he is kind of forced to be an impact player because they suck. I wish you well Mr. Miles.
