How Pissed Are The Braves?

The Braves just can't seem to find any luck this offseason. First, they were the front runners to sign A.J. Burnett, but he ended up going to the Yankees. Next, they thought they could get a deal done to sign Jake Peavy, since Atlanta was one of the few teams Peavy wanted to go to. The Padres were asking too much, and now look like they are going to hold on to Peavy. Now, (as DP reported earlier) Furcal has decided to stay with the Dodgers. This is after Atlanta had, what was believed to be a done deal in place.

"My take is, it's very difficult to do business in this game when you don't have confidence in the other people you're dealing with," Atlanta general manager Frank Wren said. "A deal's a deal. I've been in the game for 30-some years, and when you're done with a deal you do a term sheet. I can't imagine how we could have (misunderstood) anything (Sportsline)."

I would be so pissed if I was the Braves. This is a very proud organization that is getting runover like they are the Royals or something. I have to say I feel bad for them, even though they got Javier Vazquez.
