Yesterday Daly proved once again he is the badboy of golf. On the nineth hole his tee shot went wide right into some thicket. Daly went to find the ball and while he was lining up his next shot, a camera man was snapping pictures of him at close range. Daly proceeded to take the camera and smash it on a tree upon which he stated "You want it back, I'll but you a new one". Coincidentally Daly was hitting 6 over par at the time but claims he would react the same if he was 6 under. When the camera man was asked if he would seek reimbursement, he said..."No im not chasing him down for money, hes big."
This was Daly's first time back to the Australian Open after his 2002 controversial exit. He hit a bad shot and threw his club and ball into the nearby lake. He then proceeded to verbally abuse a tour official at which time he was disqualified from the tournament. Remind you of anyone?
Oh yea, and by the way, earlier this year we was arrested for being "extremely intoxicated and uncooperative" at a Hooters in North Carolina.
