Patriots 24 Seahwaks 21

Seattle came out and played as hard as they have all season. The Patriots defense looked beat up and weak. It seemed like every couple of plays the Patriots were losing another defensive player. Seau looked like shit, and got burned for two big plays. I will give him a little bit of a break, since I don't think he was expecting to play as much as he did, but when Bruschi went down they didn't have much of a choice.

The Patriots offense was solid, but Welker was the real story, as he went crazy for 134 yards on 12 catches, and a 2 point reception to put the Patriots up by 3 (which is what they won by). Moss was ok, but dropped another couple of easy passes, which I hope will not become a trend as he had the same problem last week. New England will need to find a way to have a running game, but how far this team will go will be based how what they can do with this defense. The good news is that the Pats have an easy schedule for the rest of the season, and the Jets seem to be having a lot of problems of their own (lost to SF today). The Pats are now tied for the lead in the AFC East, and are in good shape to make a playoff push.
