Rajon Is A Leader

"Some advice from the Celtics' youngest starter paid off in the final minutes of their 88-85 victory over the Atlanta Hawks last night.
"Rajon [Rondo] told me to relax a little bit," Kevin Garnett said after scoring 6 points in the final 2:52.
"This is not a rivalry," Garnett said. "[The Hawks] are a very good team, they play with a lot of confidence and swagger. Joe Johnson is one of the best in the business and they cause a lot of hell and havoc. But you have to win for it to be a rivalry."

I mean not only is this guy providing the Celtics with a floor general on both sides of the court but he is starting to take a leadership role on a team with three Hall of Famers. Not a lot people would tell a guy like KG to relax, but Rondo is. Obviously, Rondo's actions go hand and hand with KG clutch shots at the end of the game as well. I don't know if his vocal leadership can be attributed to Sam Cassell, but obviously he is turning into a guy anyone would want on their team. Rondo has been unbelievable this year and has answered the call when needed, and last night was just another stepping stone towards superstar dome.

Thanks Bobby U for the heads up.
