"The agent for shortstop Edgar Renteria said Wednesday that he's making significant progress toward a deal that would bring the five-time All-Star to the San Francisco Giants (ESPN)."
The deal is rumored to be 2 years about $18 million. It's a great move for both teams if they can get this done. Renteria is always a much better player in the NL, and the Giants could definitely use an infielder like Renteria. I hate Edgar, but as long he is out of the AL, and off my radar, we won't have problems.
