I wish I had better news to give everyone, but Rodney Rogers is paralyzed as the result of an ATV accident. Terrible news for a good guy, who was one of my favorite players during his time on the Celtics. Dueling Couches wishes him, and his family the best.
Career Highlights:
-Won Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year honors while at Wake Forest (1993)
-Draft #9 overall by the Denver Nuggets
-Won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2000 while with the Phoenix Suns (2000)
-Trade to Celtics in 2002. Was a great players for the C's, and hit a lot of key shots.
-Rogers is the cousin of San Francisco 49ers linebacker Tully Banta-Cain (former Patriot).
