BMack's NFL Mock Draft
You've been waiting for it...here it is:
1. Lions - Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia
Worst fucking pick ever, but this is the Lions, and this is what they do. He is going to cost them so much money, then suck, and the Lions win no more then 3 games in any of the next 3 years...unless Stanton starts.
2. Rams - Jason Smith, OT, Baylor
This is who the Lions should have picked. Anyways the Rams have not been able to protact their QB in years. This will be a step in the right direction.
3. Chiefs - Aaron Curry, LB, Wake Forest
Can you say STEAL? This is guy by far the best player in the draft, and will be dominant for the Chiefs.
4. Seahawks - Mark Sanchez, QB, USC
It is amazing how far this guy has climbed. If the Seahawks keep this pick, they will take him because he is the best player in the draft, and Hasselbeck can't stay on the field.
5. Browns - Brian Orakpo,DE/OLB, Texas
Browns defense is terrible every year. They could go WR here, but I don't think they will be able to trade Edwards, and that will be a lot of money caught up in WRs. This kid will be great on the outside, and putting pressure on the QB.
6. Bengals - Eugene Monroe, OT, Virginia
Some think he is the best offensive lineman in the draft. Not sure I would go that far, but the Bengals need to protect Palmer.
7. Raiders - Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech
Hold on the Raiders are on the clock, and there is a playmaker on the board. Yup, they just can't lay off these types of guys.
8. Jaguars - B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College
Jags just haven't been as scary of a defense since they defensive line spilt apart. They start to rebuild with this pick.
9. Packers - Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU
The Packers are so pissed that the Jaguars took their boy. In the long run they will be happy...Jackson is a beast, and will finally give the Packers something to talk about on that defensive line.
10. 49ers - Andre Smith, OT, Alabama
He is a butthead, but he has fallen too far to pass on him any further.
11. Bills - Aaron Maybin, DE, Penn State
The Bills will love this guy. He can play OLB and DE. This draft is deep with offensive and defensive lineman, so they take advantage.
12. Broncos - Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee
How long has Denver's defense been terrible? Sure they could use a QB, but anyone they would want is gone, so they try to once again rebuild that horrible defensive line.
13. Redskins - Everette Brown, DE, Florida State
They pick for need. Some people think they will try to move up and take Sanchez, but I think the Campbell era will last at least another year.
14. Saints - Brian Cushing, OLB, USC
A lot of people think the Saints will go with a RB here, but it the defense that needs fixing. Cushing gives them another good young LB...great pick.
15. Texans - Jeremy Maclin, WR, Missouri
They don't want to do this, but he has fallen so far they have to. Think of the combination of this guy and Johnson. If Maclin was to fall this far look for the Jets/Ravens to try to trade up to get him.
16. Chargers - Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio State
This pains me, because it is such a steal. With what they already have it will be very tough to pass on the Chargers next year.
17. Jets - Percy Harvin, WR, Florida
You know they want a QB, but if they can't move up then they should add a guy who will help them stretch the field, and in the return game. This guy can be a "game changer".
18. Broncos - Chris "Beanie" Wells, RB, Ohio St.
If you aren't going to have a QB, you need to get that run game going. Wells is a step in the right direction, and could add some toughness to this offense that it has lacked for a while now.
19. Bucs - Clay Matthews, OLB, USC
To be honest I think this kid is better then Cushing, but that's just me. Great pick for the Bucs, and yes the Patriots have just through a hissy fit.
20. Lions - Michael Oher, OT, Mississippi
Well because they are fucking stupid, and took a QB too early, they are stuck with mediocre linemen...sweet.
21. Eagles - Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, Maryland
Fastest guy in the draft, and the Eagles are always looking to upgrade their WRs, since they throw the ball 300 times a game.
22. Vikings - Hakeem Nicks, WR, North Carolina
They are pissed they didn't get more speed at WR, but this kid can flat out catch the football. Freeman is there, and an option, but he really isn't that much of an upgrade, and this team is ready to win right now.
23. Patriots - Rey Maualuga, ILB, USC
Would have wanted a OLB, but how do you pass on this guy? Belicheck is doing fucking backflips in the War Room.
24. Falcons - Brandon Pettigrew, TE, Oklahoma State
They really wanted Tony Gonzalez, but if they can't get him they need to bring in someone for Ryan to throw too. Solid "need" pick.
25. Dolphins - Peria Jerry, DT, Mississippi
Could use another WR, but you know Parcells loves his big guys. This guy has fallen too far, and Parcells is now also doing backflips.
26. Ravens - Kenny Britt, WR, Rutgers
Been climbing a lot of boards, and the Ravens really need some WRs. Britt fills a need.
27. Colts - Knowshon Moreno, RB, Georgia
Do they need him? No, but they just can't pass up that kind of talent. Trust me the Colts don't like it either, but he is just too good.
28. Bills - Eben Britton, OT, Arizona
They brought in TO to catch the ball, but he won't be doing anything if they can't protect the QB.
29. Giants - Larry English, DE, Northern Illinois
Would have loved to get a WR (especially Nicks), but with no one of "value" for the first round they address another need and add some depth to their defensive line.
30. Titans - Evander Hood, DT, Missouri
You know they have a big void to fill. This will help a little, but still the team is going to feel that pain for a while.
31. Cardinals - Vontae Davis, CB, Illinois
What a steal. This guy could be one of the best players in the draft. Cardinals draft for talent here over need (RB).
32. Steelers - Alphonso Smith, CB, Wake Forest
Steelers would like to add to that offensive line, but they could use some upgrades at CB. Smith is very good, and I could see him in a Steelers uniform. So yes I already hate him.
