PITTSBURGH PENGUINS 5, PHILADELPHIA FLYERS 3
***Pittsburgh wins series 4-2***
Biggest Philly choke by a team not named the Eagles you'll ever see. The Flyers had a 3-0 lead 4 minutes into the 3rd, and they pissed it down their legs on home ice. Ruslan Fedotenko, Mark Easton, and Sidney Crosby all scored in the 2nd to tie it. MA-Fleury made some nifty saves in the 3rd and Sergei Gonchar put in the game winner. Crosby added an empty-netter to make it 5-3.
The Flyers suck.
CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS 5, CALGARY FLAMES 1
Chicago leads series 3-2
The home team remains undefeated in this series. A 3 goal onslaught in the 1st put the Flames to bed, and they never woke up. The Flames had to pull Kiprusoff in the 2nd, it got so ugly. Brent Seabrook was the hero for Chicago, he scored a goal and had 2 asissts. Havlat had a pair of helpers and Patrick Sharp scored his 3rd goal of the series. I have a feeling these two teams will be going the full 7.
SAN JOSE SHARKS 3, ANAHEIM DUCKS 2 (OT)
Ducks lead series 3-2
San Jose was clearly the dominant team in this game, but still needed OT to beat Jonas Hiller and the Ducks. Joe Thornton had a goal and 2 assists, and everytime I see him play harder than he did while in Boston, my hatred for him grows more and more. Go Anaheim! Duck em up!!!
A note for Sunday's games, Rangers head coach John Tortorella will not be behind New York's bench. He's been suspended for throwing a water bottle into the stands during Game 5.
It's ironic he's had such a problem with Sean Avery's antics when he obviously cannot control himself.
Sunday's games:
2:00 PM - Capitals @ Rangers (Rangers lead series 3-2) - NBC
7:30 PM - Devils @ Hurricanes (Devils lead series 3-2) - Vs
-The Commodore
