106 Celtics, 104 Bulls
Well, what else can anyone say about this series. It is the most intense series i have ever witnessed in my life. Every game for the most part goes down to the last shot and at least one overtime. If this wasn't the first round in the NBA playoffs, we would be discussing whether this is the greatest series of all time. Last nights game was no exception.
With a hobbled Ben Gordan he was still able to play the roll of the assassin, as he put in 26 points, including clutch free throws. The Bulls played a great defensive scheme against Paul Pierce until the fourth quarter and overtime. The Truth proved he still got it as he seemed to hit every clutch shot as possible. After they stopped trapping him, he dicked on John Salmons with 6 straight points in overtime including the game winner with 3 seconds left.
Rondo did his Rondo thing by scoring 28 points (including 2-2) from beyond the arc and he also had 11 assists and gobbled up 8 rebounds. He has been absolutely unstoppable with his penetration and kick out game. Ray Allen also got the short end of the stick as he was fouled out early in the fourth when he was grabbed by Brad Miller.
But the real hero of the game was Kendrick Perkins who had 16 points, 19 rebounds, 7 blocks, and get ready for this America ZERO Fouls. Perk played his best game in a Celtics uniform to date.
Either way i hope the Celtics can end this series next game, because I don't know if my heart can take it.
