BMack's NFL Draft Winners and Losers

WINNERS:

Eagles - Jeremy Maclin with the 19th picks. This is a guy many had in the top 8, and the Eagles got him at 19. Not only do they not have to pay him top 10 money, but McNabb may finally have a WR that he has been looking for since TO left. Not to mention they went out and traded for Hobbs to secure their secondary. Then to top it all off they may have got the steal of the draft in Rashad Johnson in the 3rd round. This kid might be the best safety in the draft, and the Eagles steal him in the 3rd round. Just a great day for this team.

Packers - How can you not love what they did. Sure they did not have a lot of picks, but they made them count. Raji will anchor that defensive line that was tossed like rag dolls last year. Then they turn around make a trade with the Pats and get Clay Matthews. All I can say is that the Packers have a playoff ready offense, and with this draft that defense should be good enough to get them there.

Jets - The Jets made three picks in this entire draft, but can you argue with what they got? Mark Sanchez, in my eyes, is the best QB in this draft, and I am pissed that he is in the AFC East. He has a rocket for an arm, has played in tough offenses, and can handle the media with ease. Perfect fit. Then the Jets turn around trade up again and get RB Shonn Greene, who I think will a great complimentary back for this offense.

LOSERS:

Raiders - Darrius Heyward-Bey is fast, but that is about it. he is way overrated, and definitly is not a top 10 pick. Now a guy who would most likely be a #3 WR for most teams is going to get top 10 money. Then they pick Michael Mitchell, who is at best a 4th or 5th round pick. In short kill yourself Al Davis.

Lions - I know a lot of people will hate this and say the only reason I put them there is because they drafted a QB, and I love Drew Stanton, but it's not just that I promise you. How can a team that can't protect thier QB not draft a single offensive lineman (till the 7th round)? Honestly it's like this team doesn't want to get better. Stafford will be a bust. Brandon Pettigrew was a solid pick, but overall they blew this draft.

Cowboys - So Tony Romo is your QB. You sign him to a long term deal, then turn around and draft a QB? Another fucking stupid franchise. The other reason they are on this list is because of deal made long ago. They didn't have a 1st or 2nd round pick, and for what? Roy Williams.....sweet.
