Stanley Cup Roundup: Day 6

One series gets more complicated, one becomes very clear.

WASHINGTON CAPITALS 4, NEW YORK RANGERS 0
(New York leads series 2-1)
For everyone who thought New York was a well-balanced team, think again. The Rangers win and lose with the glove, paddle, and blocker of Henrik Lundqvist. Sometimes, they get lucky and actually score goals. Tonight, they didn't get lucky. The Caps went with Simeon Varlamov in net, and he got the shutout. At 22 years old, he's the youngest to ever record a shutout in the playoffs.

And shut the FUCK UP ABOUT ALEX FUCKING OVECHKIN AND SEAN FUCKING AVERY. THAT'S FUCKING ENOUGH!!!

Front page of ESPN's NHL coverage is Ovechkin, cuz he got two assists. But it was Alexander SEMIN who scored both those goals, AND had an assist. Semin had 34 goals this year and is a pretty sick player.

BOSTON BRUINS 4, TWATREAL CELINEDIONS 2
(Boston leads series 3-0)
Nothing's over until it's over, but the Bruins, for all their choking in the past, have never lost a series when up 3-0. The Bruins won this without Lucic and on the road. Montreal hasn't been able to come up with an answer for the Bruins all year, and that looks to continue. Even with their ghosts, the Habs 100th season looks to be ending with no trophies.

Since Montreal's season is nearing an end, let's have a look at their hot female fans:

CALGARY FLAMES 4, CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS 2
(Chicago leads series 2-1)
The Flames beat the Blakchawks for the first time this season. Don't underestimate the home ice advantage Calgary has. David Moss scored twice in the 3rd period to help the Flames pull away, his 2nd and 3rd of the series. Martin Havlat's late goal to make it 4-2 was meaningless, but gives him 3 for the series.

Tonight's games:
7:00 PM - Penguins @ Flyers (Penguins lead series 2-1) - Vs
7:00 PM - Red Wings @ Blue Jackets (Red Wings lead series 2-0)
7:30 PM - Devils @ Hurricanes (Devils lead series 2-1)
8:00 PM - Canucks @ Blues (Canucks lead series 3-0)
10:30 PM - Sharks @ Ducks (Ducks lead series 2-0) - Vs

If you're interested, I recommend checking out NHL on the Fly on the NHL Network. It starts at 9 and features live look-ins of games.
