McGinest Coming Back To Patriots?

"The wild card, should these options not pan out during the remainder of the offseason, is to bring back 37 year-old Willie McGinest. Playing 212 NFL games has taken a bit of a toll on McGinest's body, but like Taylor, the Patriots could bring him on for situational play and leadership. It would be a fitting swansong for McGinest to return to the team for which he played his first 12 seasons, and he could still be valuable as a supplemental player (ESPN)."

Obviously McGinest doesn't have much left in the tank, but I have to admit this interests me. The Patriots wouldn't need him to play full time, and he could be a great 3rd down linebacker to rush the QB. I also have to admit I really haven't seen him play in a while, so I am not sure if he can still do it. Still, I would like to see this happen, so the Patriots can take some pressure of young guys like Crable, and give them a little help in the development process. I wonder if the Patriots can get back into talks for Peppers now that the league is raising the salary cap by $12 million...
