Melo's Fiance Gets the Boot

Man, things are getting heated between fans of both the Nuggets and Mavericks after Mavs Owner Mark Cuban ran his mouth the other night to K-Mart's Mom on Mother's Day. Here's footage of Melo's fiance La-La getting the boot after getting into it with Dallas fans after last nights game 4. Ironically she is also one of the judges on the newest season of that lame VH1 show "Charm School."

Cuban supposedly offered Kenyon Martin's family dinner on him if the series goes back to Dallas (which I highly doubt). He also apologized, and says he is going to personally reach out to K-Mart who I doubt will be trying to hear any such apology.

To suspend Cuban seems pretty ridiculus. The man has a shitload of money and would probably laugh off any such monetary punishment. It doesn't look like the league is going to suspend him either, although there is no timetable on making such decisions. For the most part, I think Cuban is actually good for the game, and makes a point not be like your average NBA Owner. He brings added noteriety to his ball club, and it is evident he is passionate about the sport.

Despite some of the positives he does, I feel he should get at least a game or more for a suspension. The only thing that would probably bother Cuban, would not being able to sit courtside during a playoff game. Recently the NBA has TRIED to clean up their act as far as conduct of players and overall league image goes and this clearly goes against any such strides in continuing that effort.

With a commanding 3-1 series lead, the Nuggets look to rap up the series back home tomorrow.
