Time To Sign Bay

At this point we all know Jason Bay is the real deal. The Sox are probably going to have to start looking for a replacement for Ortiz, but first thing first...Sign Bay to a long term deal! I know before the Sox were saying they could not gauge the market because of the economy, but this guy is worth a long term deal and probably should be make 15-18 million a year. I think if the SOx offered that they would have him signed. I really don't want to see him go, but I feel that they are low balling him, and he will test the waters. He is a proven "Yankees killer", and has been nothing but clutch for the Sox. With most players you have to take the good with the bad, but what is the bad with Bay? He runs the bases well, can hit, field, seems to be a good club house guy, and is patient at the plate. He fits the mold of Youk and Pedroia, and the Sox need to get on this before he really starts looking around. I do not want to see him in pinstripes!
