"The Boston Globe reports that Jacoby Ellsbury said he would "probably not" play in Thursday's series finale against New York as he continues to deal with a strained right shoulder."
This injury has kept Ellsbury out longer then I thought it would. Thank God Kotsay is back, because at least he is a productive bat (unlike Rocco). I do not expect Ellsbury to be out too much longer, or have to hit the DL, but certainly something to keep an eye on since the Sox lose all their speed and defense in CF while Ellsbury is on the shelf.
