I hate the state of New Jersey more then almost anything else, but you got to give credit where credit is due. The Devils have made a hell of a team this year. They have the goaltending, and the offensive firepower to make a move for the Cup.
Yet, they seem to have hit a little bit of a wall. New Jersey is just 8-13-2 over their last 23 games, so this might be a good chance for the Bruins to take advantage. Boston has been seemingly playing better of late (6-3-1 in their last 10 games), but that can be a little misleading as they have 3 of their last 4.
The problem has been the same all season for the Bruins. They play well for a period or two, then fall apart. The scoring hasn't been there all year, and their intensity has been sub-par at best. Thing won't be easy tonight, as Martin Brodeur is 8-2-0 with a 1.95 goals-against average in 10 games against the Bruins since 2005-06.
The Bruins are currently in 8th place in the Eastern Conference (only 1 point up on the Rangers), so every game is important.
Game starts 7pm on Versus.
