The C's stumbled against Utah the other night, and don't expect tonight to be any different. The Denver Nuggets are BMack's new favorite team, and a western powerhouse. Led by Carmelo Anthony and Chauncy Billups the Celtics will have their work cut out for them.
The Line ups are:
PG C. Billups 20.0 R. Rondo 13.7
SG A. Afflalo 8.7 R. Allen 16.2
SF C. Anthony 28.9 P. Pierce 18.0
PF J. Petro 3.0 K. Garnett 14.2
C N. Hilario 13.9 K. Perkins 10.4
Melo will score and Billups will be solid, but the guy the Celtics can't afford to let get going is JR Smith. He's instant offense and can kill you from the outside if you let him. The Celtics will most likely put Ray and Daniels on him, so lets hope they can have some defensive intensity. Where I see the Celtics excelling is down low. KG/Perk/Sheed/Baby should be able to handle Nene and Chris Anderson. If that happens, that should open up Paul/ Ray/ Finley and Nate Robinson to fire away.
Also, my favorite match up will be Chauncy vs Rajon. Rajon got embarrassed by Deron Williams the other day, so lets hope he can bring that defensive intensity along with some nifty passing.
