Sabres @ Bruins Preview
Boston has won 3 out of the 4 games against the Sabres, and are coming off a 5-0 bitch slap of the Flames. Yet, how many times have we said this before. There is every reason in the world the Bruins should win this game. They are at home. They have had success against this team, and they are coming off a big win. Yea...anyone else still not confident? Yea, me either.
Miller is probably the best goalie in the NHL right now, and that could be tough since the Bruins struggle putting the puck in the net. Boston counters with Tim Thomas tonight, who looked great against the Flames, and could wiggle his way back into playing time if he has another strong showing tonight.
The Bruins will be playing without Ference, who is out hurt (when isn't he?). The key for the Bruins is to have success on the power-play. They are not a great scoring team, so they need to taken advantage when the other team is a man down.
Game starts at 7pm on Versus.
