For a 25 year old, we have certainly heard a lot about crazy Elijah Dukes. Yesterday he was released from the Nationals, and apparently for not beating up women. This move probably isn't significant to many people, but I believe Dukes is talented enough to help a ball club. He is a pretty awful person off the field, but for him to be getting all these opportunities means he must have some talent. If he can get his head on straight he could be a Nick Markakis esk type of player. He can run, hit for power, play defense, all he needs to do is raise his average.
If I were the Sox I would trade Jacoby Ellsbury and sign Dukes to be the future of this team.
