The Bruins are proving with each passing game that they are one of the best teams in the NHL. Boston went 11-1-1 during November, and have outscored their opponents 51-24 during that stretch. On the other side the Lightning have been terrible going 1-6-4 in their last 10 games. Tampa has been a mess all season, as they fired their head coach (Barry Melrose) after only 16 game, which I found ridiculous. Well, that move hasn't made them any better as they continue to slide.
Boston could be seeing a couple of guys back on the ice tonight. Tim Thomas, who missed last game with an illness is expected to play. Marco Sturm is also expect to be back from his leg injury (though he is less likely then Thomas). Boston should roll over this mess of a team tonight. What is even better for Boston is they get to play these guys again Monday.
Game is at 7:30 on NESN.
Side Note: Kessel is on pac for 44 goals this year.
**UPDATE** Sturm will not play tonight- thanks to The Commodore for the info
