CC Sabathia got a deal that he couldn't refuse and he took it. That deal was a seven year deal worth approximately $160MM. Bob's boy CC finally joined the dark side and will be the Ace that leads the staff for many years. I think that this is a great move by the Yankees because they needed to make a big splash, and they did with the best pitcher in the market.
A few questions though.
1. Will CC's arm hold up after being worked over the past couple of years?
2. Wil he be able to handle the pressure in NY, because he has struggled on the big stage before?
3. Sabathia can't be the whole pitching staff so what are the next moves?
Prediction is Lowe, Sheets and Pettite back.
