The Phillies signed 46 year old Moyer to a 2 year deal. No word on how much it is for, but I actually like this move. Moyer eats up innings, and doesn't really walk anyone. He will have games when he gets crushed, but you know what you are going to get from Moyer, which is saying a lot compared to most of the pitchers in the MLB. The Phillies also signed Chan Ho Park to a 1 year deal. He will be used as a spot starter, but to be honest he doesn't deserve a spot on any team, because he is just terrible. Phillies will have a hard time controling that division with all the bullpen help the Mets got, but I still think they are a better all around team.
