MLB.com is reporting that the Yankees have switched their focus from pitching to hitting, after signing Burnett, and Sabathia. Now the Yankees seemingly never ending money pile will go after players like Manny Ramirez, and Mark Teixeira. At this point I really don't know what to think. Tex has been getting offers of about 8 years 160 million, but reports are saying he is looking for a 10 year 200 million deal. I wasn't sure if he was going to get it, but with the Yankees after him, he is sure to get it. I still think he is coming the Sox, but the price tag is going to be through the roof.
My gut is telling me there is a good chance the Yanks will get Manny, but don't they have enough corner outfielders/DH on the team? It would really pain me to see Manny in a Yankees uniform, but he is so set on chancing a buck, that he very well could end up there.
