I wrote a bunch of posts last week about how I didn't want the Celtics to make any moves during this trade deadline, because we are a championship team. But Since I've got the thought of getting Antawn Jamison to join the C's I'm more than intrigued. Jamison may be allergic to defense, but he does crash the boards along with having a very good offensive skill set. Since KG, Rasheed, and sometimes Perk forget how to rebound, I think this would be an excellent fit. In the rumor I heard this morning the deal was Jamison, and Mike Miller for Ray and baby. I don't mind that at all. I hate Mike Miller, but at this point he is just as much of a threat as Ray Allen is, or has been playing. And I would sleep a little bit better knowing that Rasheed Wallace and Antawn Jamison are coming off the bench. It will help KG with minutes, the Celtics lack of a spark off the bench (even though Daniels has been playing awesome) and keep the Cavs from getting Jamison. (although, they have put all of their efforts to get Amare Stoudimire, we'll get into that later) The Butler/ Jamison deal seemed all to good to be true, but the Celtics desperately need this guy.
