Bruins @ Flyers Preview: Game 6

The Bruins were up 3-0 in this series, but the Flyers have turned it around with the comeback of Gagne (not to mention the Bruins loss of Krejci), and now they are sitting at 3-2 going to Philly.

This series should never have been 3-0. All the games were close, and the Flyers are just flat out better then that. What scares me is that Chara came out and said that he was nervous over the course of this series. Ummm, what??? You're the Bruins fucking captain, I don't care if you are nervous, there is no reason you come out and say that. To be honest, it has shown too, he hasn't played as well, and the defensive effort has left a lot to be desired.

But everything is not doom and gloom. Philly lost their goalie for the rest of the season, and will be playing with Leighton who came in and stopped all 14 shots. Who is in net for Philly really doesn't matter though, they go through goalies like the Patriots go through conerbacks.

The Bruins have to come out and be more physical. Players like Richard have gotten away with being chippy all series, and someone (Lucic) needs to get in his face. Boston need to crash the net, and make sure the Flyers are not getting easy 2nd chance opportunities on Rask.

I think the game will be close, but I predicted the Bruins in 6, so I am sticking with that.

Bruins win 4-3 (OT)
Players of the Game: Savard/Chara

Game starts at 8pm on NESN.
