Rondo Going For the Crown?

We always have to deal with the Lebron dick sucking on ESPN, so lets give Rondo his due. Rondo has been the best player in this series. Yes, even over the God-like Lebron. Lebron has noticed, and today stated that he wants to guard Rondo.

Last night, I was saying to DP that the Cavs might have to do this, but as DP pointed out, and I finally agreed, it puts the Cavs in a bad position in other spots. Pierce has been shutdown this series, but you would have to think that if someone like Mo Williams/Anthony Parker are guarding him, instead of Lebron, he is going to light them up.

Also, having Lebron cover Rondo will only take out 1 part of Rondo's game (going to the basket). That still leaves the fact that he can find the open man, and pass up the ball, which we have seen Rondo do time and again without a problem. Covering Rondo could have other consequences as well... Like will Lebron have the legs to be able to chase around Rondo all game, and still have his normal scoring output? Maybe, but I can tell you it is probably a lot easier guards a much more stationary Paul Pierce.

Bottom line is that if other guys other then Lebron don't step up the Celtics are going to control this series. I am not sold that they will, and King James better be ready to give up his crown to Rajah Rondo (yea, Rajah is the name for Indian kings, sorry best I got).
