The Sox have has an up and down week in just about every way. They were swept by the lowly Orioles, but then bounced back to sweep a 4 game series with the Angels. Now comes the true test as the Yankees come to town.
The Sox will have Beckett on the hill tonight against Phil Hughes. Hughes has been nothing short of amazing this year with a 3-0 record and a 1.44 ERA. Yet, he has yet to have success against the Sox (0-2 7.62 ERA).
Boston counters with Josh Beckett, who had a very tough start to the year, but like most of the rotation has righted the ship of late. Last time out Beckett went 7 innings against the Orioles letting up only 2 runs, but he has been lit up by the Yankees giving up 13 runs and seven homers in 12 2-3 innings in his last two outings against New York.
I can never pick the Yankees, so the Sox get the win once again.
