Manny To the White Sox

The Dodgers confirmed that Ramirez will be shipped to the White Sox, tweets Peter Gammons of the MLB Network.

The White Sox have lost nine of 14 and 13 of 20 to fall 4½ games back of AL Central-leading Minnesota with three games left in the season series between the teams. Interestingly enough, the first two stops on their 10-game trip are Cleveland and Boston, two of Ramirez's former clubs.

The White Sox have really done everything in their power to make the playoffs this year. Edwin Jackson has been nothing short of spectacular for them (even though I still question trading Daniel Hudson) and now with Manny to anchor that line up, this should be a fun rest of the year in Chi Town. I know Manny is only batting .311 with 8 HRs and 40 RBI's but he hasn't played much of the year, and with him knowing he has a contract coming he will probably try and finish the year batting close to .400 and have 11 HRs and 30 RBIs in the last month.

I don't know if it will be able to get the White Sox past the Twins but it will definitely be fun to watch.

(K Sucks, Rondo 4 Life, enjoy your pick and roll game fail miserably this year once Boozer goes down with an injury)
