Canadiens @ Bruins Preview
The Winter Olympics are over, and the Bruins get back to work tonight against their rival the Montreal Canadiens. Feels like nothing has changed as the Bruins will have to play without of their stars in Patrice Bergeron, who hurt himself during the gold medal game.
Boston has yet to make a trade, and they could really use some more scoring, but first they need to get it from some of the underachievers on this roster (Krejci, Ryder, Wheeler, ect). These are the guys that are supposed to lead this team, and have fallen on their faces for most of the season.
Neither club can afford much of a slip-up in its return to NHL play. The Bruins are currently in 7th place int he Eastern Conference, and the Canadiens are just 1 point behind them. The Bruins need to come out and end this home losing streak, as they have not won in front of a home crowd since a 2-1 overtime win over Philadelphia in the Winter Classic at Fenway Park on Jan. 1.
Game starts at 7pm on NESN.
