Patriots Resign Leigh Bodden and Wilfork's Contract Details

Bodden signed a four-year contract to remain with the Patriots. The contract has a maximum value of $22 million (guarantees $10 million). As I said yesterday I think the Patriots had to bring this guy back. The free agent corners market is really weak, and Bodden may not be a star he is certainly serviceable.

So if you add that all up it comes out to $40 million. Still, the last two years of this is not guaranteed, so the Patriots do have some wiggle room to get out of this contract if it turn bad.
