Ownership was not happy that Roethlisberger decided to rape another chick (allegedly), but would they go as far as to cut him? ESPN is attempting to make this a story, but I just don't see it.
The ball got rolling as Roethlisberger was missing from optional workouts this week. I have to admit I am a little surprised at that too, since the Steelers are coming off a down year, and lets just say between the rapes and the fight with Hines Ward last year, one would think he would want to rack up some brownie points. Then again, it might be a better option for Roethlisberger to let this all blow over, and not have his team have to deal with the 10,000 questions that would've came up had he showed up.
That being said, how could you possibly cut a top 5 QB in the NFL? The answer is you can't, and if you do you are a fucking fool. This is just more of ESPN making up stories that aren't there. I am sure the Steelers aren't happy with Roethlisberger, but unless this entire situation gets out of hand he isn't going anywhere.
