The New Orleans Hornets strengthened their bench significantly by trading Bobby Jackson away to the Houston Rockets for Mike James and Bonzi Wells. This is a perfect trade for New Orleans. It makes their bench a lot better than it was with a underrated SF and a 3 point/ back-up PG in Mike James. The Hornets did not need much, but they got what they needed.
Houston basically got rid of salary by receiving fossil Bobby Jackson.
