Damn right Hellenga, and folks this is a special day, because this man is a legend. He has influenced so many of things that DP and I loved at URI. The first basketball game that DP and I ever went to, we decided that Hellenga would be a legend. His reckless three-pointers, his fiery attitude, and being able to actually hit a clutch shot. Here is a quick list of why Hellenga is the man (I am not even sure which ones are true anymore):

1. Fade-away Threes
2. Drinking ability
3. The fact that he woke DP up in the middle of the night to kill beers
4. Hellenga Slap (want to know what that’s like? Imagine that Hellenga is Bernie Mac, and you are everyone in that train station, watch video below)
5. He drinks beers by biting the side of the beer can
6. He only drinks Bud Diesels
7. After crossing half court there is a 48.7% chance he'll just launch a three from there
8. He once wrote to me that he should be coaching URI (damn right Hellenga)
9. The fact that he overrules Jim Baron
