The three-point shootout is tonight. A lot more interesting than the dunk competition, since it actually has stars we want to see (except for some reason Ray Allen isn't involved). Daniel Gibson (MVP from the rookies/sophomores game last night), Dirk Nowitzki (taking over for Kobe), Richard Hamilton (and his stupid fucking facemask), Jason Kapono (last years winner), Steve Nash (shooting 47% from 3 range this year), and Peja Stojakovic. This should be a great match up, but lets break it down. Gibson won't win, because I don't think he is strong enough from this distance and it’s his first time in the event. Dirk and Nash's motion takes too long and this will cause them to have to rush at the end, which will hurt them. Richard Hamilton wears a facemask, so I'm not picking him. So it's down to Peja and last year’s winner Kapono.
Prediction: Peja Stojakovic
