Kurt Thomas Going To Spurs
Well it looks like the Spurs are into the trading bonanza. Tonight the Spurs traded Brent Barry, Fransisco Elson and a 2009 draft pick to the Sonics for Kurt Thomas. This will be a very crucial move for the Spurs especially in the playoffs. The lone reason the Suns got him a couple years ago from the Knicks is that he is a very good low post defender, and to defend Tim Duncan. He is a great club house guy and solid all around player. He will come up big if the Spurs have to play the Lakers with Gasol or Bynam or Phoenix with Shaq on their team. The Sonics on the other hand, are "rebuilding."
