Celtics Active at Trade Deadline?

There have been many reports over the past couple of weeks that the Celtics would be looking for a backup to Rajon Rondo (who is having a hell of a year). There have been a couple names mentioned from Damon Stoudamire to Sam Cassell. Both these deals seem to have become less and less likely to happen as the deadline approaches. According to the Boston Herald the Celtics backed away from Stoudamire because "the club ultimately felt he wouldn’t be able to take away minutes from Rajon Rondo [stats] and, more importantly, backup Eddie House". I agree with this feeling that Stoudamire would have been a bad idea, since I do not see him as that big of an upgrade over Eddie House. Sam Cassell was a lot more interesting, since he would give veteran leadership, and some playoff experience. There are two reasons why I do not think this will happen. One is that Cassell's contract would have to be bought out, and with no news of this happening, it seems less likely to happen. Two is that Sam Cassell had a hard foul on Rondo not too long ago. This leads some to believe that there would be some hostility in the locker room. I do not see the Celtics making a move before the break. The question remains that when the playoffs come around will the Celtics be hurt by not having a solid backup PG that can run their offense, if Rondo is in foul trouble, or gets injured?
