Now that Vinny Del Negro is long gone and signed with the Clippers, we Boston fans never need to mention his name again when it comes to coaching here, we can start looking around to find Thibs replacement and Docs ultimate replacement.
The name i get most excited for is Lawrence Frank. Although Franks last 2 years in NJ were subpar, he did an alright job. He is a defensive minded coach that is a motivator, much like Doc and with some time under his belt in Boston, he would be the only guy I would want to coach Boston. Another guy would be Kevin McHale and while that would be a sentimental favorite from the old timers, I think he's not that great of a coach. Plus he's an awful GM and player rater too.
But since I know Danny and Doc like Lawrence, they should just get their man.
