Sources say the Red Sox will not add more then 500,000 to their payroll, since they are so close to the luxury tax, and don't want to pay the extra money. This basically means that trades like DeJesus (ect) most likely won't be happening. The only moves I expect the Sox to make it to pick up some bullpen guys. Other then that they are going to ride it out with their current squad, with the exception of Mike Lowell, who will most likely be traded (or released), but even that won't give them much relief as they will most likely have to eat 95% of that contract.
