This is another story we have all been avoiding. Coach Kelvin Sampson is in some hot water. He just keeps calling recruits before he supposed too, which is a direct violation of NCAA rules. While he was at Oklahoma, he had them placed on three years probation for the illegal phone calls (about 550 of them). Now at Indiana, he is between a rock and a hard place. He is coaching game to game and has supposedly made around 100 phone calls in direct violation of NCAA rules "knowingly". Top recruit Eric Gordan (who chose Indiana last second over Illinois) is one of the recruits in question. Also, Indiana is most likely going to put on probation and Sampson will probably be out of a job in the following days.
I love these stories. Nothing makes me happier than hearing a Fab 5/Blue Chips type of stories.
