Signing Day: De'Anthony Curtis

David Alexander Pearce you must be crazy. Saying stuff about Michigan State is just uncalled for, you have no reason to hate Michigan State, Jeff Smoker lived the college dream much like you and I did. We came to school with so much potential, but booze pissed it all the way. So hating Jeff Smoker is like hating ourselves. Now on to more imporant things, I have found my new love in college football. His name is De'Anthony Curtis...here is what ESPN says about him:

Evaluation

Curtis is good, very good and should be receiving more national attention than he is. He has the size you want in an every down back and the speed, quickness and receiving ability to that make him a homerun threat. This is a guy that has change-of-direction, he has quickness, he can find the cutback lanes, he has speed to get to the corner, even though he can bounce it to the outside, he is really a north and south runner that turns upfield and is very efficient. His top end speed is outstanding. When he gets in the open field, he can outrun angles and take it to the house. He is a guy that doesn't have a lot of moves but he runs hard and is a slashing force. He is a smooth athlete with lower body strength to handle 25 carries per game easily. He bounces off tackles, he appears to have good balance, and he almost always falls forward. Possesses tremendous receiving skills and can create match-up problems on the perimeter. Has soft hands and will continue to become a receiving threat with more experience. He isn't a guy that possesses a lot of lateral suddenness, but is effective regardless because of his true speed. Curtis could become a great one in time and is a homerun threat.

This freak of nature will be attending the great school of Arkansas. No chance he is not going to be the next Mcfadden, but will win at least one Hiesman Trophy. There are many reasons to enjoy this "Athlete". One look at his first name De'Anthony, any person thats put De', or Ja' in front of thier name has greatness in thier future. JaMarcus Russell, DeAngelo Williams (college), and a personal favorite from back in the day Jamar Tombs (Texas A&M). The next reason to love him is that he has the same last name as my favorite NFL player ever Curtis Martin. So how can we possibly go wrong. De'Anthony will also be in a system that is losing thier top two running backs, and loves to run the ball. With the Arkansas system in place he will get alot of touches. Also, playing in the SEC (I believe) helps a player reach that next level since you will be playing NFL ready athletes on a weekly bases. So, to sum it all up this guy will basically rock your socks off (I mean look at that pick, he as probably slept with women double and half his age).

Oh and one last thing Mr. Pearce I wouldn't be calling my favorite football players "polesmokers" considering that your favorite player of all time was Kordell Stewert a.k.a Slash...best known for having his butt cheeks slashed by many a dude...good day
