With Clay Buchholz going to the DL the Red Sox are really limping into the all-star break. How they have even won 49 games at the halfway mark is very impressive. The depleted Red Sox already have eight members of their big-league roster on the disabled list: Dustin Pedroia (foot), Victor Martinez (thumb), Manny Delcarmen (forearm), Jason Varitek (foot), Josh Beckett (back), Jacoby Ellsbury (ribs), Jeremy Hermida (ribs) and Mike Lowell (hip). Clay surprised me this year on how good he actually is, and he even made the All Star team. The Sox will most likely call up Felix Doubront in Clay's absence.
Yesterday's game blew. Matusz owned the Sox and Lackey lost. He also yelled at Tito when he went to take him out. Lackey is a d bag.
