CSN Chicago is reporting that the Cubs and Braves are close to a deal that would send first baseman Derrek Lee to the Braves, who are seeking a bat to make up for the loss of Chipper Jones.
This has a lot more to do with the poor play for Troy Glaus then it does with the injury to Chipper Jones. Glaus can no longer play 3rd on a regular basis, so if Lee comes over he will be splitting time with Glaus. In my opinion both these guys suck, and there won't be much of a difference.
