The Mariners were a bust this year, and now they have fired their coach. We all knew this coming, and it is somewhat deserved. This team should've been better then it is, but it really is as much the front office's fault as it is his. They made a nice starting rotation, but you can't go into a season thinking that Figgins, Griffey, and Bradley are going to carry your offense.
It is going to be interesting to see who Seattle can bring in, because if I was a hitter I would not want to play in that park. It seems like the place power numbers go to die. Either way, they have a lot of work ahead of them.
